AHaH One Step Paint Color Mix

Color Mixing is great and easy with the One Step Paint®. With the many color choices, there are still ways to mix them together to make your own custom color to fit your need. For this mix, I used 3 parts Massey Hill plus 2 parts of Windsor. I was looking to create a coffee brown.

Color Mix:

3 parts Massey Hill + 2 parts Windsor

Neutral use of this color for curtains in this living room

Love the addition of the color for this cabinet

"an outdated sofa table brought to life by Amy Howard at Home One Step Paint in Bauhaus Buff on the main part with a beautiful Java Stain Gel product used on the top. The whole thing was followed by Light and Dark antiquing wax and Dust of Ages on the bottom part."

 "Purchased this large piece for our store for $200 and did a custom job for a client. I was inspired by Amy Howard's custom pieces from her line of furniture!! Came out beautifully!! Used Selznick Grey One Step Paint and Linen One Step paint for panels. Finished with Clear and Dark wax and then Gold Leaf! Love the transformation!"

One Step Paint Color MIx

The One Step Paint® is a great product to mix! Although there are many color options, I love to make my own versions though color mixing. For this mix, I used two parts of Rugo with 3 parts of Palm Beach and 2 parts Get in Gear. I was looking for a beautiful green between a shade of mint and emerald!

Color Mix:

2 parts Rugo + 3 parts Palm Beach + 2 parts Get in Gear

Inspiration:

Great addition of color for a laundry room

Love the idea of painting your chairs for a pop of color

Welcome to a new week! It excites me to share creative ways that our retailers decorate their windows. Today, I am highlighting Fig & Company located in Knoxville, Tennessee. I was able see owners, Lee and Flavia, while we were in Atlanta for market and I am grateful to have such inspiring and wonderful retailers. These twin shelves were found in original wood tone.  They were then painted in the Linen One Step Paint.  The stripes were done on the sides with the Dark Wax.

Compleat Lifestyles

This tiny little side table was found already painted poorly with black color stain.

It was repainted in the Black One Step Paint then stripes were added  with the Linen One Step Paint on top.  The piece was then finished with the Clear Wax.
