Featured Retailer: Coastal Fog

I love our Thursday posts where we feature a Retailer of the Week. This week, Coastal Fog located in Greenville, North Carolina is our Featured Retailer. Coastal Fog is a unique retail store. 

"Signature Jordan, LLC was founded in early 2007 when owner, Jordan Vainright Proctor, made her dream -of owning an art and design-based company- a reality.  With much success, the business has expanded to include Interior Design Firm, Signature Jordan Interior Design, and storefront location Coastal Fog, co-owned and managed by Marty Vainright, which illustrates some design directions of Signature Jordan, LLC.  Jennifer Vainright Lutz, the third Co-Owner of Coastal Fog is the reason we have been so successful in carrying the Amy Howard Paint. Jennifer introduced her line of refurbished furniture called “Revived” using the Amy Howard products. She also began creative DIY workshops which are hosted in our studio space on the second floor of our shop. These workshops include cooking classes, painting how to’s, pillow making, furniture refinishing and many more creative endeavors. We have a unique and creative space, one which can only be described as having the feel of “Anthropologie meets Ollivander’s Wand Shop in Harry Potter with a natural seaside infusion.”"

Amy: What is your company motto? 
Coastal Fog Team: Our company motto is design, create, inspire.

A: What do you love about having a store? 
CF Team: We thoroughly enjoy that we get to improve people’s lives by displaying one of kind pieces in our store that customers and clients can actually utilize in their interiors as well as assisting them in creating and designing their personal interior spaces, even if we are just providing our guidance and personal opinions.

A: What is your favorite Amy Howard At Home product? color? 
CF Team: We love all of the wax products because the wax creates a historically accurate heirloom quality finish while also enhancing the look and quality of whatever we use it on. And we love all the colors- it is way too hard to just choose one!

A: What sets you apart from other stores in your area? 
CF Team: People come to us for our creativity as well as our design knowledge. No other business in this area offers the complete package of design experience and refurbishing experience.

A: I cannot live without my…
CF Team: We CANNOT live without our studios, because that’s where all the magic happens!

A: What is your favorite season? 
CF Team: We love the spring season because we all have a passion for gardening and that is when all our seedlings we planted in months before start to bloom.

A: What is your aesthetic in three words? 
CF Team: We don’t know if we could describe it in just three words so here is our best description, Coastal Fog is authentically fresh, and coastally inspired elegance!

*They made an additional note to let me know that they had completed  5 kitchens and 4 bathrooms in the past 4 months using the Amy Howard At Home products- I am so proud!!

Bar Stools done in a custom mixed One Step Paint color: Rugo and Luxe Grey 

"This color combo has been very popular for us, we have done two kitchens in it"

This kitchen was painted in a custom mixed One Step Paint color: 

Rugo, Bauhaus Buff, and Black.

It was then antiqued with Light and Dark wax. 

The bathroom below was finished in the same color.

These chairs were sprayed with the Kumquat Lacquer.

The drum table was finished in the Luxe Grey One Step Paint with Clear wax.

This Built-in was painted with Luxe Grey One Step Paint for the inside 

and the Rugo and Luxe Grey One Step Paint mix on the outside.
