There is somewhat of an ombre effect with the use of grays
TJ's Inspirations shared "Desk is now shades of grey. Painted with Amy Howard One Step Luxe Grey. Rope trim has Atelier as an undercoat. Drawers are Amy Howard's Furniture Lacquer in White Perfection, Vendome Grey, and LaGrange. "Bright Idea" Clear Lacquer finished each drawer.
