Featured Retailer: Woodstock Antiques & Consignments

I am excited to share this week that our Featured Retailer is Woodstock Antiques & Consignments located in Acworth, Georgia. The store owners, Kimberly and Suzie absolutely love and have a passion for painting. In getting information about their retail location, they shared their story with me.

Owners Kimberly London Posey and Suzie Chinal take pride in the business they have built over the last 10 years - 25,000 square foot Woodstock Antiques & Consignments. “Our business is all about salvage, restoration, and community. We listen closely to our customers as they relate their personal stories, and we envision the tales behind the amazing vintage and antique pieces that make up our store.  There’s always a history…always a story.” They contribute their success to always remembering to keep God first.

It was at their 10 year mark that Kimberly and Suzie discovered the Amy Howard’s products, and spent the week in Memphis learning about the magic of dust, paint, and waxes. “What a life changing experience! Since then, we have enjoyed sharing the beautiful impact of ‘rescuing and restoring’ with the Amy Howard paint line. Truly, the possibilities are endless”, says Kimberly.

After returning from Memphis, they jumped in whole heartedly and built an Amy Howard Studio & Showroom. They even, after 10 years, revamped their logo to incorporate Amy Howard. Woodstock Antiques & Consignments offers One Step, Zinc, and Cabinet Restoration classes on a regular basis, as well as open Studio Time. Where customers can bring in projects and get valuable one-on-one time with instructors. “We like to do things a little differently around here, it’s all about keeping things fresh and creative…a bit ‘outta the box’ and ‘outside the lines’,” added Suzie, “and it works!”

They will be going on the road this summer, doing a “Traveling Show” to festivals around Georgia to further spread about the Amy Howard product line. "People need to know how this product can change the way they view their current furniture, and see potential in the old."
